Charlotte joined AHDB in July 2022 on the Analyst Development Scheme. She moved to the Retail and Consumer Insight team as an analyst in April 2023, and is also part of the team involved in our Carbon Markets work. Charlotte’s role is to analyse retail and foodservice trends as well as understand consumer sentiment towards red meat and dairy products, farming, and the wider agricultural industry. With this information, she produces articles, updates dashboards, helps commission research projects, supports wider teams within the organisation with insight, and speaks with both farmers and stakeholders to help promote the red meat and dairy industries.
Prior to starting at AHDB, Charlotte spent 5 years working for Mole Valley Farmers. During this time, she won multiple national awards as an R-SQP, winning National SQP of the Year in 2021. Charlotte has a BSc in Bioveterinary Science, and a PGCert in Equestrian Performance.
Outside of work, Charlotte enjoys open water swimming and spending time with her dogs, which she shows successfully.
