Corn Returns: Ex-farm prices and volumes
The Corn Returns are the longest running domestic price series for grains. The survey shows the average ex-farm prices for wheat, barley and oats as well as the volume of grain traded. For more information, take a look at our weekly Market Report. To view volume data please use the the download dataset section at the end of the page.
Under the AHDB Order (2008) it is mandatory for buyers of more than 1,000 tonnes of UK grown cereals a year to provide information. Each week on a Monday, data is published for the purchases made during the previous week (Friday to Thursday).
Ex-farm prices are the price received by the farmer regardless of haulage and other fees.
For more details, please see the Corn Returns Information guide.
This dataset was produced by our Data and Analysis Team. To find out more about the team, along with the internationally recognised ISO 9001:2015 accreditation we have for our Quality Management System, please visit the Data and Analysis team page.
