GB fertiliser prices
The GB fertiliser price series aims to increase transparency in the market and help levy payers understand price trends for a key input.
The prices cover seven fertiliser products:
-
Ammonium nitrate (UK produced and imported)
-
Liquid nitrogen (UAN)
-
Granular urea
-
Potash
-
Phosphates
- Polysulphate
- Nitrate sulphur
The prices shown are spot prices for bags delivered to farm with standard 28 day buying terms. Data providers may have made some adjustments to ensure prices meet this specification.
Latest update
These prices are published by the end of the second full week of the month
Additional information
Prices are submitted on a monthly basis. These prices are broken down into weekly figures to allow AHDB to assess the level of variation within a particular month
All these price series are designed to provide comprehensive historical records of the delivered to farm price for fertiliser. They are not designed to be used as a base for future contract prices. The decision of how to arrive at the price to pay for fertiliser is entirely a matter between the buyer and seller.
