Supported operating systems and internet browsers
To use the AHDB website and receive the best experience, operating systems and internet browsers will ideally need to be in line with the recommendations below.
What is an internet browser?
An internet browser is software or an app installed on your device (computer/tablet/phone) that allows you to access websites.
What is an operating system?
The operating system is the interface that controls and manages the hardware and software on your device. It also allows you to tell the computer to perform certain tasks without knowing how to speak the computer's language.
Here are the browsers tested and that work best with the AHDB website.
- Google Chrome (Latest Version)
- Microsoft Edge (Latest Version)
- Mozilla Firefox (Latest Version)
- Safari (Latest Version)
NOTE: Due to the resources required to develop, test and support the AHDB website for each individual browser currently available (and in the interest of delivering the best experience) we only support the most popular browsers.
We recognise that some users may choose to use other browsers but unfortunately, we cannot guarantee a problem-free experience, nor can we offer user support, to those using browsers not listed.
