Making decisions on farm is rarely a simple process. Join us for this on-farm event with Beef & Lamb Strategic Farmer Richard Carruthers, who will talk through the changes he has made since joining the Farm Excellence network. We will be joined by some of the experts who Richard works closely with, including Paul Arkle who will talk about how to make production work with the environment. Also, independent sheep consultant Dr Liz Genever will discuss the steps Richard has taken to improve production of his grassland management. The farm walk will demonstrate the outcome of some of the changes.

The event will cover topics including:

  • Opportunities for improving farm performance

  • Ways to reduce environmental impact

  • How to practically use herbal lays in your sheep system

Refreshments will not be provided on this occasion.
