Tuesday, 02 March 2021

12:00pm - 1:00pm

Understanding the impact of fertilisers and organic materials have on the carbon footprint of your farm is important both in environmental and financial terms.

Anne Bhogal and Christina Baxter, ADAS will look at how farmers maximise the efficiency of organic materials and fertilisers, understanding how nutrient management can potentially reduce the use of fertilisers as well as the added benefits, such as reduced costs and building soil organic matter.

A Q&A session will be chaired by Tim Kerr from Hutchinsons. During this session, the panel will discuss practical options on how to create a nutrient management plan and how to manage the use of fertilisers on farm.

If you can’t make it on the day, please still register, as it will be recorded and sent to you afterwards to watch in your own time.

This webinar is part of a series about carbon. You will find the other Carbon Week webinars on our events webpage.
