Are you the decision maker in the farm business?
Do you manage labour; both employed and family?
Do you face frustrations with communication or getting the job done the way you want it?

This workshop is for farmers (and farm workers) to be able to plan and deliver effective verbal communication to a range of audiences for desired outcomes.

Kim Stafford of U&I Training will lead a full agenda to achieve the following goals:

• Able to describe core communication skills
• Recognise own communication preference
• Compare communication styles of team
• Identify tools that that can help them improve communication
• Develop Action Plan to implement some key tools

Why should you attend?

Communication is the most underrated tool in business; lack of clear instruction, misunderstanding and in some cases frustration, causes huge costs to motivate or even replace staff. Decision makers should be skilled to communicate effectively, to gain the most benefit and reward from their workforce.

The meeting is funded by AHDB and open to all farmers and growers, but registration is required for catering purposes. CPD points will be available on the day.
