Penrith Monitor Farm launch and summer meeting

Join us for our Penrith Monitor Farm launch and summer farm walk this July.

We look forward to welcoming you Penrith Monitor Farm. We will discuss the farm business, plans for the three year programme as well as the season and current crops.

Discussions will include:

• Introduction to the farm business – including soil type, cropping and machinery.
• L-CBF Boost try out – this season Henry has carried out split field try outs testing the effect of L-CBF Boost applications. We will look to see if there are differences in the crop as well as the soil.
• Soil Health Review – we will discuss the results of the soil health review conducted last winter, looking at what Henry could focus on.
• Fungicide Challenge – this season a few members of the group have been taking part in the fungicide challenge, we will discuss the disease pressure this season and their approaches (more information here: https://ahdb.org.uk/wheat-fungicide-margin-challenge-adas-ahdb)
