Tom joined AHDB on the Analyst Development Scheme in 2024, working in both the economics and the livestock teams. He has since progressed into an Analyst role in the Livestock Market Specialist team. Prior to this, he worked at Oxbury Bank in their marketing and communications team.
Tom grew up on his family farm in Kent, a predominantly arable operation with a small suckler beef herd. Early experience with dairy, arable, beef and hop farms led him to Harper Adams University where he gained a BSc (Hons) in Agriculture with Farm Business Management continuing on to a part-time MSc in International Agri-Business and Food Chain Management that he completed alongside his role at the AHDB.
