Join us to understand how improvements to the dry cow environment will pay huge dividends at Ninezergh Farm following a spike in mastitis in early lactation.

You’ll see how data can help identify the patterns of mastitis, aid decision making, and reduce mastitis across the autumn block calving herd.

Farmer Adrian Bland will be joined by vet Dr. James Breen to discuss the options and show you how they can reduce dry period new infection and improve apparent dry period cure rate.

In this webinar you will learn:

  • How you can generate more value from milk recording and clinical mastitis data
  • To understand mastitis patterns and where to target changes
  • To identify key management areas and highlight improvements
  • About Ninezergh Farm’s future plans

Following the webinar, there will be an opportunity for any autumn block calvers to join James and Adrian in a closed discussion about steps to reduce mastitis incidences.

We encourage you to send any questions you’d like discussed in the webinar and register your interest in the closed discussion group by emailing james.hague@ahdb.org.uk
