Petworth Monitor Farm Summer Meeting
Join us for a farm walk with Mark Chandler as we return to Petworth Monitor Farm.
We look forward to welcoming you back on-farm to provide an update on recent activity and look ahead to harvest 2021.
This session will be an opportunity to discuss current topics and activity at your local Monitor Farm. During this farm walk we will be discussing and viewing the innovative environmental approaches that Mark Chandler is integrating into his arable farm business. We will also be examining how the natural capital resources he is promoting can be effectively and efficiently utilised to increase the future robustness and improve the economics of his overall farming business.
We will be joined by Marek Nowakoski from the Wildlife Farming Company who will discuss ways to viably establish your field margins so as to encourage beneficials and reduce costs. Stephen Woodley from Crop Services Ltd will also join us to take part in a discussion on soils, break crops and cover crops.
This meeting will be subject to the COVID regulations set out by the Government and implemented by AHDB. Hand sanitiser stations will also be available and social distancing measures may be in place. As we will be outside for the farm walk, please bring appropriate footwear and clothing for the weather. To read the AHDB COVID events protocol, please click here.
