Monitor Farm Monday: Data management - time saved or lost time?
Join us for the latest webinar in our Monitor Farm Mondays series, where we will be discussing the value of data management and analysis.
Speakers: Andrew and Sam Melton (Wisbech Monitor Farm), James Porter (Porters Farms, Suffolk) and Harry Henderson (AHDB)
Host: Teresa Meadows
There is a huge amount of data available in farming today, from telematics, soil maps and yield maps through to costings fuel use and the digitisation of environmental features. However, much time can be spent reviewing this data to put it into a useful format for working out how best to increase production and be more efficient or profitable.
In this webinar, Andrew and Sam Melton will be joining Harry Henderson (AHDB) and James Porter (Porters Farms, Suffolk) to discuss how data can be collected and used on-farm to maximise efficiency and profitability.
Andrew and Sam have used telematics on a cultivations try-out this autumn to look at fuel use between systems alongside other forms of data analysis. They will discuss the results from this analysis and embrace your thoughts and ideas to see see how their data collection and analysis can be further refined.
James Porter uses software and mapping tools on-farm to improve operations and maximise machinery efficiency. Learn about the time taken to set up, the payback for management time and profitability and also the challenges.
This webinar will last approximately one hour followed by a Q&A session and is free to attend, but please register using the 'Book Now' button. Following registration, you will receive a link to join the webinar so you can either watch live or catch up at a later date. BASIS and NRoSO points will be available for attending this webinar.
