Have you been struggling with Johne’s testing and seeing little progress? Are you unsure about your next step in tackling this issue on your farm? Join Nantwich Vets, AHDB and NMR (National Milk Records) for an insightful session.

Don't miss out on this opportunity to gain a fresh perspective on Johne’s testing and take actionable steps towards improving your herd's health.

What to expect at the meeting

Dr James Hanks, Action Johne’s UK/PAN Livestock, will guide you through:

  • The national progress made so far and how Johne’s prevalence has reduced in UK herds
  • Benchmarking Johne’s in your herd and vet practice over time. What lessons can we learn?
  • Key changes in the National Johne’s Management Plan, specifically, knowing your herd’s level of infection and what to do with it
  • Why controlling Johne’s supports broader herd health
  • The use of available data to inform farmer/vet discussion and support decision-making. How tools such as Johne’s Tracker and My Healthy Herd can simplify decision-making

Registration starts at 6:45pm for a 7pm start. A hog roast will be provided following the meeting, registering via the booking link is vital for catering purposes.
