AHDB submits Farm Assurance Review response

AHDB has submitted its response to the commission leading the independent review of farm assurance schemes.

The review was jointly commissioned by the National Farmers’ Union (NFU) and AHDB, along with NFU Cymru, The Ulster Farmers’ Union (UFU) and NFU Scotland (NFUS), with a focus on reviewing the effectiveness of farm assurance.

The four commissioners leading the review have sought feedback from across the industry and from all farmers, crofters and growers about all farm assurance schemes, with a view to making farm to fork assurance truly fit for the future.

The commissioners’ findings are due to be published in December.
