Past Event - booking closed

Thursday, 14 May 2020

6:30pm - 7:45pm

Join AHDB Beef and Lamb for a live chat with Independent Livestock Sustainability Consultant, Dr Jude Capper from Oxfordshire.

Passionate about sustainability issues and the role of animal agriculture in helping to feed a hungry world using fewer resources, Jude’s current research and outreach work focuses on modelling the environmental and economic impact of livestock production systems. She has an active social media presence and spends a considerable amount of time de-bunking some of the more commonly-heard myths relating to livestock production. Jude will share her knowledge of the positive role of livestock on the environment and provide some useful facts and figures that can be used when engaging with the public.

We will also be joined by farmer and Chairman of Exmoor Hill Farming Network, Dave Knight, to share what farmers on Exmoor are doing to face the challenges and opportunities.

Please note after booking, in addition to the confirmation email, you will receive a booking link on the day to attend the live Microsoft Teams online event.
