Newcastle Farm Network: Research into practice - Nutrition
Join AHDB and Newcastle University Farm for the first instalment of our Farm Network event series this winter.
In this first meeting, we will be exploring all things crop and soil nutrition as we gain insights from the latest outputs from research currently taking place on the University Farm.
We will also be joined by guest speaker Clive Blacker, who will deliver a session on Nitrogen Use Efficiency (NUE); how technology and data analysis can help improve our understanding and practical application at an on-farm level.
In addition, we will also be joined by farmer David Blacker and AHDB Knowledge Transfer Manager, Dr. Ellie Dearlove as they share the latest insights coming from the AHDB Strategic Farm North, covering the topics of tailored nutrient management, field drainage and soil health.
This event is free to attend including refreshments and a light lunch.
BASIS and NRoSO points will be available
