Managing cows are easy compared to the complex changes of developing, supporting and inspiring people.

When teams are managed effectively, people are happier, work harder, make life easier, stay with you longer, and can be the vital difference between average and top performing operators.

Join Heather Wildman of Saviour Associates and hosts Tom Rawson and Charlie Crotty, for a practical session helping farm owners and herd managers understand different communication styles, what makes people ‘tick’ and how to adapt their own style and approach to motivate people who maybe ‘different’ to themselves.

In the meeting we will discuss:

  • Staff management as part of good governance
  • How to be the employer of choice
  • Common mistakes made by employers
  • Staff management and development
  • How to be a Gold Standard employer

Who should attend?

Anyone keen to improve their skills, understanding and practical delivery of staff management.

By kind permission of Tom Rawson and Charlie Crotty, Evolution Farming
