GREATsoils: Know your soil, know your options

Join us for the second webinar in the GREATsoils series, where AHDB's Katie Evans will be joined by Stuart Johnson from Understanding Ag for a discussion exploring how soil assessment can support better farm management decisions.

Rather than focusing on measurements for the sake of measuring, we'll discuss some key questions and areas to focus on.

We'll discuss:

• What questions you should be asking about your soils
• How to identify which assessments are worth doing
• What different soil measurements can tell you
• How results can influence practical management decisions
• The value of establishing a baseline and tracking progress over time

Drawing on real-world experience, Stuart will share examples of why soil assessment matters, what information is most useful and how understanding your soils can help build confidence in decision-making.
