About the speakers

Omid Ghanaat and Snehal Patel from MCS Associates Inc.

MCS Associates Inc., a consultation firm based in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada, have supported leading international companies for more than 20 years. They provide expert advice on regulatory and quality compliance of their foods and beverages, pharmaceuticals, natural health products, medical devices, cosmetics, personal care products and cannabis. Ouafa Doxon, AHDB market access manager

Ouafa Doxon, senior market access manager for AHDB, facilitates the opening of new markets and improves access to existing markets across the red meat sectors. She works closely with UK governments, particularly Defra, and with the industry.

Ouafa started her career in the meat industry as a meat hygiene inspector before joining the Food Standards Agency’s head office where, throughout her 15-year career, she was involved in meat hygiene legislation and policymaking. Since 2016, as a Market Access Manager, she has been utilising her expertise in the UK veterinary system while expanding the international trade aspects. In 2021, Ouafa was awarded a master’s degree in Meat Business Management at Harper Adams University.
