Exceptional animal welfare standards are one of the trademarks of British agriculture and of increasing interest to consumers and milk buyers.

Hosted on farms including some of our all-year-round calving AHDB Strategic Dairy Farms, the meetings will focus on how welfare can be optimised in the following areas:

  • Grouping and housing options for calves
  • Optimal nutritional strategies for calves
  • Effective pain management during routine procedures with youngstock
  • Successful transitioning your heifers in the milking herd
