Proposed changes at AHDB to strengthen delivery for levy payers

British agriculture is changing fast, and AHDB is changing with it. Farmers and growers are balancing weather, market volatility, rising costs, environmental commitments and the opportunities created by new technology and data.

Our role is to help the industry respond with confidence, through trusted evidence, practical support, stronger markets and collective leadership. 

As part of that commitment, we are reviewing our leadership structure so that accountability, specialist expertise and delivery sit closer to sector priorities and levy payer needs.

As a result, three senior roles are at risk of redundancy and we are consulting individually with the colleagues affected.  

No final decisions have been made at this stage and we will follow a fair consultation process before confirming any outcome. 

This is a proposed change to the leadership structure, not a wholesale reorganisation.

Our purpose, strategy and the services we provide to levy payers continue as normal, and the organisation remains focused on delivering value from every levy pound invested.
