How do different AHDB Recommended Lists varieties perform in the field and what can experts reveal about their potential?

This event is brought to you by AHDB and AFBI, giving you the chance to hear non-commercialised insights on all the RL varieties for winter wheat and barley and what they have to offer.

As well as the guided plot tours, we will also be joined by:

  • AHDB Crop Protection Scientist Siobhan Hillman. Speaking on varietal resistance, this talk will cover how the ratings are produced and will include RL data specific to your region. In addition, we will cover septoria management and how the RL disease ratings can impact how the disease is managed
  • Dr Rebecca Orr will be speaking on lung health
  • CAFRE will be facilitating a free moisture meter calibration service for those attending, so remember to bring yours with you!

This event is free to attend and includes evening food and refreshments. Bring suitable footwear and clothing for a field walk.

BASIS and NRoSO points will be available. Please register your attendance as soon as possible so that we can cater accordingly.
