The UK government has struck a trade deal with the EU which will allow the majority of agricultural exports from Great Britain.

Along with the passing of the Agricultural Bill for England, seen as an important reform for years ahead as we move away from the Common Agricultural Policy, farmers and growers have much to start to think about and consider for their businesses.

Join AHDB Market Intelligence Director, Phil Bicknell and guests to discuss the changes ahead for farmers and growers and gain some key guidance on what this means for you and what you can do at a practical level.

We will be joined by Defra representative on both panels to hear about the major policy changes and a panel of experts from the worlds of banking, consultancy and farming to hear their views and answer your questions on how this will impact agriculture in England.

Speaking and panel line-up:
  • Chris Maxwell, Defra Policy Team Leader

  • Oliver McEntyre, Barclays, National Agricultural Strategy Director

  • Robert sullivan, GSC Grays, Director and Head of Farm Business Consultancy

  • Duncan Nelless, sheep farmer from Northumberland
