Entering its fifth year, The Groundswell event provides a forum for farmers and anyone interested in food production or the environment to learn about the theory and practical applications of Conservation Agriculture or regenerative systems, including no-till, cover crops and re-introducing livestock into the arable rotation, with a view to improving soil health.

AHDB’s stand is featuring the latest research and information, including a focus on mesofauna and soil biology, plant health testing including the use of Brix, sap and tissue analysis, effective pasture management and new innovations such as the use of living mulch.  AHDB leads in these key areas will be on hand to talk through the levy-funded research available, to answer your questions and to take suggestions as to what you would like to see done in future research.

We will also be hosting four Q&A sessions over the two days with our Strategic Farmers, David Miller, Johnnie Balfour, both Strategic Cereal Farms, Dan Burdett, Strategic Dairy Farm and Paul Hill and Harry Henderson, AHDB to discuss our work in the livestock sector within the regenerative agriculture remit.  We look forward to you joining us for these sessions.
