Gilt Watch: Devon

Come along to this meeting and hear from AHDB's Richard Bows, who will be talking about our Gilt Watch activity. 

A few simple steps are often all that are needed to achieve great gains but, first, we need to understand why young sows are failing in the first place. 

Through this activity, we've brought together more than 30 independent producers, from both indoor and outdoor units, to monitor gilt performance.

Come along from 6.30pm to find out where we have got to, food will be served at 7pm

Our pig clubs meet regularly in the evenings during autumn/winter, providing commercial pig farmers with the opportunity to meet each other, hear from guest speakers and discuss topical issues. The meetings are relaxed and informal and, importantly, include an evening meal.
