If you want to get full value from your manures, fertilisers and soils join us for this practical on-farm event with Catchment Sensitive Farming, AHDB & South East Water.

We’ll focus on how to assess soil nutrient status, plan nutrient use and apply nutrients to achieve improved resource efficiency.

There will be practical sessions with guest speakers John Morgan, Creedy Associates and Andrew Russell, Air Quality CSFO covering and Clare Payn, Environment Agency:

  • Soil testing
  • Nutrient use and efficiencies
  • Farming rules for water
  • Spreading organic manures
  • Manure storage & standards
  • Water quality data review

We will meet on Parkwood Farm Upper Dicker Polegate BN27 3QL By kind invitation of Peter and Chris Appleton.

There are a lot of changes happening to UK livestock farming with the introduction of the new farming rules for water, the clean air strategy and ongoing market changes. We’ve brought different organisations that work with the farming sector together to discuss steps farmers can take to prepare for the future.

The cost is covered through your levy. Please ensure you register your attendance for catering purposes.
