Feeding Cows at Grass: Penrith

We invite you to our next Women in Dairy meeting which will focus on feeding cows at grass. It will be a practical session looking at the key features of grassland management and feeding. The meeting will cover:

• Targets Setting the right targets for your system
  • Grassland monitoring and measuring 

• Feeding Grass Grass quality, grass intakes and allocation
  • Assessing the amount of grass a herd of cows can eat and are eating      

• Supplementary Feeding matching grass availability and cow requirements
• Feeding at grass
• Maximising grass utilisation
• Feeding for milk quality
