Agrileader Grow: Leadership

AgriLeader Grow (ILM Level 3) is suitable for anyone looking to develop leadership abilities and move into management roles.

The course consists of two sessions – communication and leadership – which will be taking place online on 11 January and 15 February 2027.

Please note: you must be able to attend both sessions.

Module 1: Understanding the communication process in the workplace

Improve your communication skills on the farm:

• Understand the nature and importance of the communication process in the workplace
• Discover the different methods of communication
• Learn how to assess the effectiveness of your own communication

Module 2: Understanding leadership

Develop your leadership skills and abilities:

• Get a comprehensive overview of leadership and management
• Learn about different leadership styles
• Find out how to motivate and develop a team
• Develop the skills and confidence to succeed in leadership roles

• Module 1: Monday 11 January 2027
• Module 2: Monday 15 February 2027

Cost: £350+VAT

The training will be delivered online via Microsoft Teams. This reduces the time participants need to take out of the business, reduces any biosecurity risk and provides an opportunity for more people to take part in the training.
