AHDB Agronomy Conference and Agronomists' Induction events
To fuel evidence-based decisions on the farm, we deliver two major events – the Agronomy Conference and the Agronomists' Induction day.
With a focus on chemical and non-chemical control of pests, diseases and weeds, our flagship conferences focus on integrated pest management (IPM), as well as covering all other aspects of agronomy.
Agronomy Conference
Featuring a mix of in-depth technical papers and expert-led thematic overviews – combined with plenty of discussion opportunities – this event is a staple feature in the diary of anyone with a technical interest in agronomy.
The event includes the launch of the latest fungicide performance data and provides insight into the recently released edition of the Recommended Lists for cereals and oilseeds (RL).

Agronomists’ Induction
The Agronomists’ Induction is aimed at early career agronomists or students studying agronomy.
It introduces delegates to AHDB staff, products and services.
The event covers the full breadth of our agronomic activity – from how we run Recommended Lists (RL) variety trials, to how products are selected for use in fungicide performance screens.
