AHDB Agronomists’ Conference and Induction events
Many farm decisions involve trusted advisers. To ensure UK agronomists are armed with the latest AHDB information, we deliver two major annual events – the Agronomists' Induction and Agronomists’ Conference.
With a focus on chemical and non-chemical control of pests, diseases and weeds, our flagship conferences focus on integrated pest management (IPM), as well as covering all other aspects of agronomy.
The Agronomists’ Induction is aimed at early career agronomists or students studying agronomy.
Usually a two-day conference (held each October), the event introduces delegates to AHDB staff, products and services.
The event covers the full breadth of our agronomic activity – from how we run Recommended Lists (RL) variety trials, to how products are selected for use in fungicide performance screens.
Next Event: Agronomists’ Induction 2021 (26–27 October 2021, Peterborough).
The AHDB Agronomists’ Conference covers the latest research developments to help agronomists stay ahead of the game.
Featuring a mix of in-depth technical papers and expert-led thematic overviews – combined with plenty of networking and discussion opportunities – the event is a staple feature in the diary of many agronomists.
The event includes the launch of the latest fungicide performance data and provides insight into the recently released edition of the Recommended Lists for cereals and oilseeds (RL).
Next Event: Agronomists’ Conference 2021 (7 December 2021, Peterborough)
