Through careful management, Anne-marie and the team at Shuttleworth College have moved from calving at three to calving at two years old to improve the performance of the herd.

Ian has been calving his heifers at two for the past 10 years. His advice is to monitor the weight data including their weight when they go to the bull, using an easy calving bull, followed by adequate nutrition and good management.
