Milk Forecasting Forum discuss 2022/23 production outlook

The AHDB Milk Forecasting Forum (MFF) met on the 2 March to discuss the factors impacting on future GB milk production. These included: 

  • Recent trends in herd size and milk yields
  • How high input costs could impact production
  • What high youngstock numbers will mean for the age and size of the future herd

We've release a pack of the information discussed at the forum, which you can download from the Milk Forecasting Forum webpage.

We will be updating our production forecast later this month (March 2022)
