Grow Wales Green: opportunity to be part of a pilot

If you want to try new ways to establish green protein forages and are able to offer up to 0.5ha during the 2022 growing season then we would like to hear from you.

We have a limited number of places available for dairy, beef and sheep farmers to participate in a pilot project to reduce reliance on imports of protein feed and N fertiliser.

The project is being run collaboratively by AHDB, HCC and Farming Connect and aims to reduce reliance on feed and fertiliser, reduce emission and waste, and to add value to existing products. Members from the project team from IBERS, Aberystwyth University will be present at the Farming Connect Innovation and Diversification Event, Royal Welsh Showground on 15 June
