WEBINAR: Getting the best out of your autumn reseeds
Webinar: Getting the best out of your autumn reseeds
Date: 2 September 2019
Time: 7-8pm
Join AHDB and Rod Bonshor from Oliver Seeds for a webinar on how to get the most out of your autumn reseed this year.
Reseeding is an important part of grassland management on any farm and is essential for maintaining productive grassland. Research has shown that increasing the proportion of the farm reseeded each year increases the amount of grass grown and utilised on the forage platform, resulting in increased farm net profit.
At a cost of £400–700 per hectare, it is important that it is done correctly to maximise the return on investment.
This webinar will provide guidance and advice to enable you to do just that.
This webinar will cover:
- How to get the best out of an autumn reseed
- Options for permanent pasture
- The benefit of introducing clover into new leys
- Managing new reseeds ready for spring 2020
The webinar will be approximately 35 minutes long, with time for questions at the end.
