With a growing focus on reducing antibiotic and anthelmintic (wormer) use, it has never been more important to ensure that your farm is engaged in proactive herd health.  As well as calf health, foot health and udder health (mastitis), we also need to consider infectious disease. By establishing current status, putting in place risk assessment, continual monitoring, and considering appropriate vaccines as part of herd management, it is possible to prevent or reduce disease at herd level.
