The Northern Ireland Monitor Farm Network is a new take on our well-known event format as we collaborate with exciting new farmer hosts and delve into the topics they are passionate about.
In our first instalment, we are talking all things crop nutrition. Farmer host Allan Chambers will be sharing his take on plant and soil nutrition, outlining how simplicity is the key to his strategy and why sound nutrient management is critical to his farm business.
We are also excited to welcome acclaimed guest speaker Jon Telfer of Lancrop Laboratories, delivering a highly informative session that will cover;
- The critical role of balanced nutrition in driving crop health and yield.
- Identifying deficiencies and how they often hold back performance.
- When and how to use soil, tissue, and sap tests, and how to turn results into action.
- Crop performance depends on more than just N, P, and K, with the full spectrum of nutrients interacting with each other.
