You are invited to join us on a farm walk at Limavady Monitor Farm.

We look forward to welcoming you on-farm for a look at the cropping for harvest 2023.

Dr Steven Kildea (Teagasc) will join to talk about disease control and there will be stimulating discussions around the season so far and some big topics including variety blends, soil health and rotations.

What will this meeting cover?

During the farm walk, we will be looking at the current crops as well as discussing:

  • Is Alistair growing a record-breaking crop? What should he do to increase yield?
  • Cereal disease management – what is the best use of folpet?
  • Are variety blends a good option to reduce fungicide inputs?

Registration and refreshments will be available from 10:30am with presentations commencing at 11:00am. Lunch will be provided.

This meeting is free to attend, but please register using the 'Book Now' button so that we can organise catering.

BASIS and NRoSO points will be available for attending.

Please bring suitable footwear and clothing for a field walk.
