You are invited to join us for the next Hale Village Monitor Farm Meeting of the season.
We look forward to welcoming you to discuss the impact of rising costs of inputs and how to make the most out of your grain marketing. And how the impact of volatility from around the world has presented the farming industry with an increasing set of challenges. We will also get an update on the future of farm payments and the opportunities available through environmental schemes.
What will this meeting cover?
- The landscape for agriculture into 2023 and beyond, farm business income, agricultural inflation etc.
- The changing structures of farm support and the implication for arable businesses and approaches to resilience
- Environmental scheme opportunities
- Are you making the most out of your grain? What is going on in the markets? Main UK fundamentals for wheat, barley, and oilseed rape to watch for.
- Grain price risk management. Learning how to navigate market trends, help offset high input prices and preserve margin.
Registration and refreshments will be available from 10:30 with presentations commencing at 10:50 and lunch will be provided.
BASIS and NRoSO points will be available for attending.
The event is free to attend, but please register to allow us to cater accordingly and advise us of any special dietary requirements.
