What are the practical aspects of growing a successful business through grass and forage?

Join AHDB Dairy, BGS and LIC on our farm walk where we explore how Dairy farmer Peter Cozens has optimised his grass management.

• Autumn block calving – the simple way: Peter has a well-established autumn-block grazing system, we find out how ‘keeping it simple’ works best for him.

• Managing the people ‘jigsaw’: We find out how Peter successfully manages the different needs of his staff and how the balances this with the needs of the business.

• Maximising the benefits of the easy-care cow: Find out about the challenges and opportunities that come with managing a cross-bred herd.
• Utilising grass simply: How to make the most out of both grazed grass and silage.
