Norwich Monitor Farm: Enhancing soil productivity with Philip Wright and David Purdy

Join us for the next Norwich Monitor Farm meeting with host Michael Balls.

This event will begin with a farm walk starting at Hill Farm, NR14 7DU. Parking will be available on the concrete pad to the right as you drive in.

Our host will be joined by Philip Wright (Wright Resolutions), David Purdy, John Deere and Project Lamport to explore approaches to soil management.

This meeting will cover

• An update from David on the work at Project Lamport
• Cover and catch crops – science and experiences around establishment, management and evaluation
• Cultivation techniques for enhanced soil health: A dialogue on soil management for improved earthworm activity, soil structure, and crop performance at the Monitor Farm

Please bring suitable footwear and clothing for a short field walk.  

Registration and refreshments will be available from 9:30am, with presentations commencing at 10:00am, and finishing with lunch.

The event is free to attend, but please register to allow us to cater accordingly and advise us of any special dietary requirements.

BASIS and NRoSO points will be available for attending.
