Cheltenham Monitor Farm: Closing summer farm walk – the (bio)logical conclusion
Join us for the final Cheltenham Monitor Farm summer walk, with host Andrew at Boddington Estates.
With heavy land that dried rapidly this season, both spring and winter crops have been under significant stress. To this end, some biologicals have been trialled in both the spring barley and bean areas with a view to alleviating this pressure.
What this meeting will cover
Our farm tour will look at the effects of these applications and allow us to discuss the science and research behind these products, with Syngenta representatives and Agrii agronomist Kathryn Styan on hand to provide associated data.
In addition, some updated AHDB fusarium research and guidance will be available – do call or email prior to the meeting for advance sight of this regarding your own T3 plans.
The Boddington barbecue will of course round off proceedings as we say thank you and goodbye to our host, while outlining future plans in this geographical area.
Please bring suitable footwear and clothing for a field walk and discussion outdoors.
Please book in advance to assist us with catering planning.
BASIS and NRoSO points will be available for this event.
