Cambridge Monitor Farm Meeting - Soil health and introduction to integrating livestock
You are invited to join us for the first Cambridge Monitor Farm Meeting of the season!
We look forward to welcoming you to catch up on what has been happening at the Monitor Farm since we last met. We will be joined by Lizzie Sagoo (ADAS) to explore how we best optimise soil health assessments and to answer questions around practical approaches to integrating livestock into arable rotations.
What will this meeting cover?
- Soil health and resilience – strategic approach to soils and nutrient management. Practical demonstration of the soil health scorecard and discussion around how we best collect, manage and interpret soils data on farm
- Integrating livestock – practical, economic, environmental & agronomic implications of integrating livestock enterprises into arable systems
Registration, breakfast, and refreshments will be available from 8:45 with presentations commencing at 9:15. The event is free to attend, but please register to allow us to cater accordingly and advise us of any special dietary requirements.
BASIS and NRoSO points will be available for attending.
Please bring suitable footwear & clothing for a field walk.
