Elisya joined the Retail and Consumer Insights team as an analyst in 2025. Her role is to collate and analyse market information to provide key industry statistics, keep abreast of market trends, and distribute market information to levy payers. Prior to joining AHDB, Elisya was a market researcher consultant at Bloomwise, where she gained knowledge of generating data-driven insights that have informed business strategies. 


Back home in Malaysia, Elisya grew up in an environmentally conscious family, which piqued her interest in environment sustainability and food sourcing. She graduated with a BA in Business Administration in UCSI University in Malaysia and an MSc in Strategic Marketing and Consulting in the University of Birmingham.


Outside of work, Elisya is an avid gamer who actively explores baking and cooking recipes.
