Take control of your farm’s future with Roots to Resilience
Farming is changing every day, bringing forth fresh challenges and new decisions. The Roots to Resilience programme equips farmers with the learning they need to take their businesses to the next level.
What is Roots to Resilience?
Farmers know how to adapt, but farming is changing more rapidly than ever. Through Roots to Resilience, we are here to support you as you plan a successful future for your business.
Through face-to-face workshops, discussion groups, and online and written content, Roots to Resilience will support you and provide the tools and resources to:
- Get CLARITY on your goals and ambitions for your business and create a clear plan to get there
- OWN the actions and decisions needed on your farm
- Build a COMMUNITY to turn to for advice and support
The programme does not tell you how to farm but instead asks you to step back and take stock of where you are now and where you want to be, and helps you make a plan to get there. And along that journey, you’ll be sharing your experiences with and learning with other like-minded farmers.
Some of the key topics include:
- Establishing clear goals and a shared vision for you, your family and your business
- Improving communication at home and in your business to make change possible
- Developing a clear, deliverable plan to achieve your aims
Through the programme we aim to empower you to build a more resilient business and a better future for British agriculture.
