Emma Steele

Emma joined the KE team on secondment in Autumn 2019, but became a permanent team member in 2021. Emma joined AHDB in 2016 as part of Signet Breeding Services after graduating from Newcastle University with a first class degree in Agriculture & Livestock Production Science. Emma is from a mixed livestock farm in East Yorkshire and is currently the primary contact for beef & sheep levy payers in the Midlands.

Emma has expertise in sheep and beef genetic evaluations, for commercial and pedigree breeders and is part of the team delivering the AHDB Maternal Matters campaign
