Do you know your cost of production?

Would you like data to help you improve your efficiency and returns?

Are you interested in providing data towards a national beef and lamb dataset which will help influence industry decisions?

Farmbench is an online benchmarking tool that allows you to compare your farm to similar businesses. The tool allows you to:

  • Compare agreed performance indicators with local or national farmers
  • Make evidence-based decisions to improve individual profitability and productivity
  • Have a better understanding of your business to put you in control of your future

The ultimate aim of Farmbench is to put you in control of your future.

One of our Benchmarking Knowledge Exchange Managers will come to your farm, collect the information required for Farmbench, and upload it for you.

The data is uploaded, farmers will receive a detailed report of their figures which highlights the strengths and weaknesses of their business compared to similar operations in the country. There may be opportunities to get involved in local groups to discuss data comparisons with other farmers.

Your personal data will never be shared, and you will need to give permission for further use. Data is also validated by AHDB before being included anonymously in comparative aggregated benchmarks.

Our Guide to Farmbench  details what is required for each step in the data upload process, full support will be given by the Knowledge Exchange Manager
