New AHDB contact for arable farmers in East Anglia

With the summer event season fast approaching, AHDB has a new face on the team and a full schedule of open days and farm walks in East Anglia.

Ana Reynolds joined the AHDB Cereals and Oilseeds Knowledge Exchange team at the beginning of this year and is the new first point of contact for farmers, growers, and those in the supply chain in East Anglia who are looking to access the array of information, services and tools funded by their levy.

Ana will be looking after the Monitor Farm programme covering the counties of Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and Essex, running regional events for the industry and helping to bridge the gap between farming research and practice in the field.

“I am excited to be able to support and drive positive change, to help farming businesses share and analyse information, and take the crucial next steps, individually and as a community,” said Ana. “Come and say ‘hi at any of our events this summer or drop me a line. I will also be at Cereals and Groundswell.”

AHDB’s demonstration farms in Ana’s area include the Diss Monitor Farm (hosted by Richard Ling), Wisbech Monitor Farm (hosted by Andrew and Sam Melton), Cambridge Monitor Farm (hosted by Matt Redman) and Strategic Cereal Farm East (hosted by Brian and Patrick Barker).

Ana is combining her new role with studies towards a BASIS Diploma in Agronomy and helping on the family farm in Northamptonshire.
