Chicago futures supported by a weaker US dollar: Grain market daily

Market commentary
- UK feed wheat futures (Nov-25) closed at £167.50/t yesterday, up £0.60/t (0.4%) from Monday’s close. The May-26 contract also gained £0.60/t to settle at £178.30/t.
- Domestic wheat futures rose yesterday in line with global prices. Chicago wheat and Paris milling wheat futures (Dec-25) increased by 1.7% and 0.1% respectively. Chicago wheat futures were mainly supported by export demand and weakening US dollar. Paris milling wheat futures showed limited increases yesterday due to reduced competitiveness in the global market.
- Paris rapeseed futures (Nov-25) finished at €473.25/t, up €3.00/t (0.6%) on the day. Chicago soyabeans and Winnipeg canola (Nov-25) gained by 0.7% and 1.3% respectively.
- Soyabeans futures prices are attempting to find support following news of potential progress in US–China trade deal negotiations. Additionally, crude oil futures prices have increased for three consecutive days.
