Vale of Glamorgan Monitor Farm: Drilling and cultivation workshop with David Purdy

Join us on farm with David Purdy to discuss strategies for the early establishment of first wheat crops and cultivation techniques for enhanced soil health.

This event will cover

• Tillage
• Choice of drill
• Intermediate soil disturbance
• Soil structure
• Soil management for improved earthworm activity

Registration will be from 10:30am and lunch will be provided. The event is free to attend, but please register to allow us to cater accordingly and advise us of any special dietary requirements.

Please bring suitable footwear and clothing for a short field walk.
