You are invited to join us for the next Vale of Belvoir Monitor Farm Meeting.

We look forward to welcoming you to catch up on what has been happening at the Monitor Farm since we last met.

Tim Parton, farm manager at Brewood Park Farm in South Staffordshire and winner of a number of awards recognising his achievements in improving soils - FCCT 2017 Soil farmer of the Farmer, 2019 Arable innovator of the year, 2019 Sustainable farmer of the year and 2020 Innovation farmer of the year. Tim manages 300 hectares and has been developing a regenerative system there for the last 15 years, his ambition being to improve soils for the next generation.

Tim will talk about the soil journey he has been on and what he’s doing now.

This will include:

  • Developing soils that can be both productive and sustainable
  • Reducing inputs – chemical fertilizers and pesticides
  • Adapting the seed drill
  • Reducing tillage
  • Using soil biology and increasing it
  • Keeping costs down

Registration and refreshments will be available from 9.30 am with presentations commencing at 10.00 and lunch will be provided.

BASIS and NRoSO points will be available for attending.

The event is free to attend, but please register to allow us to cater accordingly.
