Pierre has been involved with Wairere, New Zealand and Australia for over 20 years and has an in depth knowledge of both the NZ and Australian meat industry having developed and managed the supply chain for Woolworths, one of Australasia’s largest supermarkets.

He is a renowned sheep genetics specialist having worked with Wairere UK 2019 – 2021 to select UK ‘bare hair’ ewes for embryo transfer to develop the wool shedding population down under.

Pierre will cover:

• Wairere rams and genetics
• Global trade from the NZ perspective
• Environmental standards down under
• Halal market

This will be an informal discussion-based evening to learn a little more about our fellow sheep mad nations, so bring your best questions and thoughts.
